Do You Recognize This Church?

Paraphrasing Mr. Noble's recent post:

Churches that don't whoop and holler just like his are:

• unexciting
• beset by rigor mortis
• not seeing anyone saved and/or not having an impact on their community
• half-hearted
• unemotional, and
• impotent.

That sounds like a pretty judgmental generalization of churches that don't hold to his personal ecclesiological philosophy.

Not following the "Perry Noble Recipe for Church" doesn't automatically consign a congregation to the lifeless caricature he's described in his post. He should consider getting out more, and see how the other half "does church."
